AMANDA JOHNSON

SENIOR COLORIST

71 PARK PLAZA

Amanda’s journey began in June 2005, as she started her training at Salon Mario Russo after making the change from Syracuse University. Further enriching her skills, she received training from color expert Alexandra Matiz at Wella’s New York studio and embarked on a global hair tour with Davines in Barcelona, Spain. Amanda’s expertise extended to balayage under Wella top artist Eric Lindsey.

She’s a recipient of several awards, including Runner-up for Best Brunette in Boston Magazine (2009) and Best Colorist (2016). Amanda’s inclusion in Allure Magazine’s 2018 directory for hair color highlights her global recognition.

Quality time with her frenchie Chloe, summer weekends with Dave in Wellfleet, filming for her YouTube channel, and time with her family and friends are only some of favorite ways to spend her time. She is inspired by the Cape’s spectacular light and colors of the sky and surf (even more so with a margarita or two…).

Amanda’s passion lies in creating timeless, radiant and healthy hair transformations. Her loyal clientele trust her talent to bring out their optimal color to follow her motto that “shiny hair is expensive hair.”
