David Donnelly

David Donnelly

David is originally from Stoneham MA. and always knew what he wanted to be…it was getting there that the path was complicated.

Growing up as a twin has its perks and perils. David and his brother grew up in the same household and are identical yet at an early age discovered they each had very different interests. David realized he loved to make people feel good and excels in client servicing.

After graduating high school, he began attending hair school while working nights at ‘Cheesecake Factory’. It was there that he learned how to multi-task… at a very young age.
He became the stylist to all his work counterparts and made the decision to leave restaurant work and become a part of the Newbury St culture. As he completed his on again off again attendance to hair school, he was also attending our Mario Russo in salon training. Many of our clients recognize David as he has been our lead senior coordinator for 3 years prior to his graduation from Mario Russo training. His ability to connect with our clients, understand what their needs are, while being patient has proven invaluable to his skill set as a stylist. He is well versed with all hair products and is always available to chat about ‘what’s best or what’s new with the industry.

In addition, and most importantly, David has successfully completed training with Hot Heads Tape in extensions along with being Keratin Complex certified. He has a true passion for hair texture, altering it, adding it and knowing what textured hair needs to look and be its best. Afterall, he has been crafting his skills since 2013.

Come see why David is a true professional and an asset to our team at the seaport. His meticulous blow outs last for days!

Patricia Zurn

Patricia Zurn

Education Director

Becoming a stylist for some is a natural progression.  Hair transforms into art and hairdressing becomes a stylist’s expression of their art.  This is true for Patricia.

Having grown up in a rural community in Maine, at the age of eighteen she migrated to Boston.  She knew city life was calling.  She attended and graduated from Mass Art with her degree in fine arts. It was during that time, after graduation, and before full time employment, that she discovered hairdressing.

The similarities were overwhelming.  She could paint, sculpt, design, create new looks with every client.  She found her path.

Education is important to Patricia and she seeks it with every spare moment in her busy life. Having completed her precision cutting from Sassoon, and receiving her color training certificates from L’Oréal Balayage Expert, Lived in Color and Pretty Little Ombre.  She has trained with the world’s best.

Patricia is first with a new technique, a new color formula, a new design for achieving that special haircut.

Patricia has won many awards, the most recent to mention would be Boston’s coveted Best of for Hair Extensions, 2019.  She is skilled in several different brands of extensions, Great Lengths, Hair Dreams, Hot Heads to name a few.   Her clients travel from all points of the country to schedule with her.  Her extensions go untestable to the average eye!

Patricia’s hair color is always subtle, natural and blended to the utmost detail.  She will not stop until every client is completely satisfied.

This powerhouse is a true talent, a gentle soul with imagination, polish and professional.
