I’m Barbara, and I’m so grateful that I’m able to share my passion, creativity and talent in an environment that celebrates all walks of beauty and emphasizes the power of hair styling in expressing oneself. 

I’ve been in the hair industry for 27 years, and in that time I’ve been granted opportunities to work with and learn from several of the greatest talents in the hair world. I fell in love with the hair culture of Boston when I took my first job in 1998 on Newbury Street, and this city has continued to feed my desire to contribute to my clients’ experience with hair styling and self expression. In my years as a stylist, I’ve owned three salons in our city that have won Best of Boston. 

In recent times, I’ve rediscovered the gifts of mindfulness, holistic healing, gratitude, and reflection on my place in my communities. I am the woman I am today because of these practices, my newfound commitment to my recovery, and the people in my life who are vital to my journey, 

I live by a mantra that urges me to give the gifts I wish to receive, and my work in the hair styling world allows me to live this mantra everyday. I believe that in identifying and accentuating the beauty in my clients’ hair, I help them appreciate and celebrate themselves as they are today.
